Courtney Davis

Courtney Davis obtained her Master of Interior Architecture degree from ASU in 2019, and joined White Baux Studio soon after.  She brings skills of communication, collaboration, and community engagement strategies to her design practice. She has collaborated with several non-profits to support their missions with design strategies that support community health and well-being.  Ms. Davis has also been a member of an ensemble theatre company for over a decade, whose focus is community engagement through art, and civic practice.

Highlights: Programming, Space Planning

U.S. State Department Consulate Compound, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (138,000 sft)

Highlights:  Space Planning, FFE selection, custom stone tile design + planning, compliance with U.S. Government standards.

*George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center – Phoenix,  Arizona

Highlights:  Collaborated with the museum’s stakeholders in designing a multi-phase master plan for renovation and utilization of the historic building and site.

*Chrysalis Shelter – Phoenix, Arizona

Highlights:  Select furniture and generate FFE specifications and schedules.  Programmed common areas of the shelter to encourage clients to use community spaces.

*Chrysalis Shelter Transitional Housing Renovation Project – Phoenix, Arizona

Highlights:  Selected finishes for complete renovation and brought apartment up to ADA compliance.  Created a Trauma Informed design strategy in coordination with staff and social workers.  Selected and installed furnishings.
